Official Selection – SDJFF
So Soon Forgotten is screening at the 20th annual San Diego Jewish Film Festival – which runs form February 10-21. We are very excited to participate in this festival.
The SDJFF aims to educate and illuminate audiences by offering an array of films that depict elements of Jewish life, history, and culture in challenging, moving, and humorous ways as never seen before.

So Soon Forgotten will be screening on February 16th and Februar

So Soon Forgotten is proud to be part of the 17th annual Sedona International Film Festival (February 20 – 27).

The Sedona International Film Festival has achieved recognition as a world-class film festival. Each year, audiences and the next generation of filmmakers come together from all over the world to participate in this inspiring celebration of the power of independent film. Audiences and filmmakers herald the Sedona International Film Festival as one of their favorites.

So Soon Forgotten will screen on February 25th and 27th. Director Zack Bernbaum will be in attendance.

So Soon Forgotten will be screening at the 2011 Fargo Film Festival (March 1 – 5).

The Fargo Film Festival strives to provide informational and provocative presentations and panel discussions on issues affecting local, regional, national and international filmmaking and filmmakers.

Ashkelon, Stamford & Miami!

So Soon Forgotten is proud to participate in three upcoming Jewish film festivals:

  • The 7th annual Jewish Eye World Film Festival in Ashkelon, Israel (October 10 – 18, 2010)
  • The 3rd annual Jewish Arts & Film Festival of Fairfield in Stamford, CT (October 23 – November 7, 2010)
  • The 14th annual Miami Jewish film festival in Miami, FL (January 22 – 30, 2011)

So Soon Forgotten is making its way to Hollywood to participate in the 6th annual Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival! (May 8-13).

The LAJFF builds community awareness, appreciation and pride in the diversity of the Jewish people through film.

So Soon Forgotten screens on May 12 at 1:00pm at Laemmle’s Town Center.

We are proud to have So Soon Forgotten screen in our hometown of Toronto at the 18th annual Toronto Jewish Film Festival (April 17-25).

TJFF is one of the largest festivals of its kind in the world, with an international programme from 18 countries and four continents, reflecting aspects of Jewish identity and diversity with universal themes.

So Soon Forgotten screens on April 22, 5:30pm at the Al Green Theatre.

Official Selection – Plus Camerimage

So Soon Forgotten and Stephen C. Whitehead are honoured to be part of 17th annual Plus Camerimage Film Festival. Plus Camerimage is the greatest and most recognized festival dedicated to the art of cinematography, and contributes to the growth of cinematographers’ prestige.

The unconventional format of the festival, which awards films according to their visual, aesthetic and technical values, has turned out to be an alternative for traditional film festivals. So Soon Forgotten will play as part of the Student Etudes Competition.

Plus Camerimage runs from November 28th – December 5th in Lodz, Poland.

So Soon Forgotten will be competing in the 8th annual Miami Short Film Festival.  Their philosophy is that today’s short films lead to tomorrow’s world-renowned filmmakers.

The festival has brought a powerful cultural voice to the city of Miami and created a positive influence on local film artists and aficionados

The Miami Short Film Festival runs from November 14th – 21st

Official Selection – VJFF & BJFF

So Soon Forgotten will participate in the 21st annual Vancouver Jewish Film Festival (October 30th – November 8th) & the 21st annual Boston Jewish Film Festival (November 4th - 15th).

The VJFF is the longest running Jewish film festival in Canada and strives to entertain and celebrate the diversity of Jewish life and culture through multi-cultural interaction and high quality entertainment.

The BJFF presents the best contemporary films from around the world on Jewish themes – exploring Jewish identity, the current Jewish experience and the richness of Jewish culture in relation to a diverse modern world.

So Soon Forgotten Premiers at MWFF 2009

So Soon Forgotten will have its world premiere at the 32nd Montreal World Film Festival as part of the Focus on World Cinema section – which reflects the vocation of the Festival as a World Film Festival.

The goal of the MWFF is to encourage cultural diversity and understanding among nations, to foster the cinema of all continents by stimulating the development of quality cinema, to promote filmmakers and innovative works, to discover and encourage new talents, and to promote meetings between cinema professionals from around the world.

The Montreal World Film Festival runs from August 27th to September 7th.
